Already the largest multidisciplinary delight sporting event, the Arnold Sports Fete can not get much bigger - at least not in its current locations.
With a record 18,000 athletes from this year's celebration is close to filling time and space in the middle of Great Gathering Columbus, Veterans Memorial, the Lifestyle Communities Pavilion and Nationwide Arena.
If it continues to flourish, the event may use other facilities such as the Ohio State University, co-toggle Jim Lorimer said. Expansion would allow new sports like youth hockey, bowling and cricket.
"We expect to add what we can to give further indication to a wide range of sports," he said.
For now, Arnold weekend includes these new attractions:
â € ¢ strongmen competitions Less (Friday and Sunday at the convention center) and crosses of martial arts to fight against the (Friday Communities Pavilion Lifestyle), sports once for professionals.
â € ¢ Cow Burgh Showdown, which offers beginning and professional snowboarders competed on Saturday and Sunday at Veterans Cenotaph.
