Cory Duggan soars to New York State pole vaulting crown

ITHACA, NY - Monsignor Farrell senior pole vaulter Cory Duggan had problems with the step as he warmed to the earth meets the Federation championship yesterday at Cornell University Barton Passage.
But for an experienced athlete as Duggan, this is not a reason to worry.
"Everyone has their days," said Duggan. "I do not feel remarkably well during the warm up, but once the competition began, all started in the profession."
It is an understatement.
Duggan added a large number of lines to his luggage on Saturday, but start with this: Back in 2010 New interior, New York.
Indeed, in compensation of 16 feet, Duggan made the following:
- Became the first vaulter to win the island step response;
- Became the sixth athlete from New York to clear 16 feet indoors (PAL Cory Brian, now one of his coaches, was the first in 2005);
- Corresponded the fifth-best vault in the state this year.
"Clearing 16 in the pole vault is very large," said Duggan. "I suffered as I have in me.
