Here are 5 weeks of my legislative update. Bills next on the stump of the Senate have increased significantly and we will spend much of our time next week to discuss draft law on the stump of the full Senate.
SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED FOR THE WEEK OF RECOVERY
As we approach recovery - the deadline for most bills to pay for their house of origin to stay alive during the current session - the Senate will work more hours on the lowest level of the Senate Besides our regular meetings of the committee. Thursday and Friday, the Senate shall meet at 10 hours, preferably from our normal 2 hours Meeting.If there is still a need for a thorough debate on all invoices not exempt, the Senate, may also convene on Saturday.
